Del Campo Dance Classes
Beginning Classes
They are designed for anyone new to Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia. The instructors create a fun and welcoming environment for everyone. No experience is needed to take these classes.
Bridge to Intermediate Salsa
They are designed for dancers to be comfortable with basic steps, timing, frames, and partner work patterns. Typically, it takes 10-16 beginning classes to take this class. You must know your basic right turn, left turn, and crossbody lead. The instructors review dance techniques and introduce shines and partner-work patterns in this class.
Intermediate Classes
They are designed for dancers who have taken the bridge to Intermediate classes and are ready to take their dancing further. The class starts with footwork and goes into partner-work patterns.
Pachanga & Boogaloo Series
Weeks 1–2: Pachanga
Born in Cuba, Pachanga is a fun and upbeat dance full of hip, body, and arm movement. You’ll learn the rhythm, signature footwork, and partnerwork that make Pachanga so playful and infectious.
Weeks 3–4: Boogaloo
Boogaloo is a funky blend of Latin, soul, and funk. Learn its signature “boogaloo” movements, isolations, and groove to bring out your swag and soul on the dance floor.
Suena Rueda Series
Ever seen a group of dancers moving in a circle, switching partners, and laughing the whole time? That’s Rueda de Casino – the most fun way to dance Cuban Salsa! In this style, couples form a circle and follow a “caller” who gives fun commands that keep everyone on their toes. You’ll learn Cuban Salsa's foundations and the basic call-outs that make Rueda such an energetic and social dance.
Mambo / New York Style Salsa / On2
Salsa On2, also known as New York Style Salsa, is a smooth and stylish form of salsa dancing that emphasizes musicality, rhythm, and body movement. Our beginner classes make it easy to get started with Salsa On2, even if you're completely new! You’ll learn foundational steps, partner connection, and basic turn patterns—all in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Social Dance
Once a month Del Campo Dance hosts a social. A social starts with a beginner-friendly lesson followed by social dancing all night. Music by the best DJs in town and dance performances.
*Note: No partner is required for any of the classes. No need to register online.
